Tennessee Homeschool Support Groups
Homeschool support groups in your state are an excellent way to gain more assistance and guidance in your homeschooling endeavors. A regional support group fosters a wonderful sense of community among homeschooling families and allows for more opportunities to exchange ideas, plan group outings, and share in the overall experience of homeschooling! While Calvert supports the development of community among homeschool families, this list does not constitute affiliation between Calvert School and the groups represented below.
BARTLETT WOLFCHASE HOMESCHOOL SUPPORT GROUP
This organization is a Christian support group open to anyone who is currently homeschooling grades Kindergarten and up. Our goal is to encourage you in your homeschooling endeavors by offering once-a-month meetings at which we plan activities for the upcoming month, disseminate information about opportunities in the community, and meet with other parents for encouragement and exchange of ideas and techniques.
Activities offered by our group include field trips and holiday parties. Membership in the group is required to participate in the activities; however, anyone is welcome to visit one of our monthly meetings.
BRADLEY COUNTY HOME EDUCATORS (BCHE)
BCHE is a member-driven, nonprofit organization operating in Bradley County. We have members from many surrounding counties and cities. We are primarily a SUPPORT GROUP whose mission is to help others find joy in their homeschooling journey.
Within our scope of support, we offer our members many activities and opportunities for social and educational interaction. Please enjoy our public pages and public calendar, which lists activities open to nonmembers. If you decide to become a member, you will have access to the private website, which is full of activities and events that include plays, musical performances, clubs, social activities for teens, sports activities, field trips, and community events.
COLLEGEDALE AREA HOMESCHOOLERS (CAH)
This is the message board for CAH. This is the place to just drop in and say "hi," ask a question, or just get to know each other better. This is a closed board to anyone that is not a member of CAH. To be accepted as a member, you must be a homeschooler in the Collegedale/Chattanooga area.
