Calvert Partner Schools in Ohio
As part of our continued commitment to promote broad access to our world-renowned curriculum, Calvert School is pleased to announce our Calvert Preferred Partners program in Ohio. In addition to our traditional private tuition program, Calvert‘s Pre-Kindergarten through Eighth Grade curriculum is also available, at no cost, through any one of our fine Preferred Partners listed below.
These options have been made available to serve those families who want to enjoy an educational experience that is supervised and directed by an Ohio state-certified teacher while you continue to work closely with your child in your home. While you will enjoy pacing flexibility, you must meet state requirements for hours spent in educational activities, and pacing must progress in a way that ensures your child will complete the course in an academic year.

NDA offers several state-accredited, distance learning opportunities for Newark students.
QDA helps make quality education available anywhere, anytime, regardless of where a student goes to school and where the teacher teaches. QDA offers access to an exciting new learning community where students can succeed because they’re working one-on-one with a skilled teacher, without peer pressure, without fear of failure, and without worry that they can’t keep up. We’re helping to eliminate achievement gaps, giving confidence to reluctant learners and energizing teachers with the opportunity for one-to-one instruction. Students can take courses they need to make up credits, do remedial work, and accelerate their learning.
SPARCC provides support for technology to school districts in Stark and Carroll Counties in northeast Ohio. Our mission is to provide high-quality support for the selection, acquisition, installation, maintenance, and integration of technology into the learning community.
Virtual Schoolhouse is a school designed to address the needs of students in grades K–12 who are at risk of dropping out. Our students face many economic, environmental, emotional, and/or academic challenges, including physical and mental illnesses, social disadvantages, learning disabilities, or other special needs. Virtual Schoolhouse strives to provide exceptional educational experiences for all students regardless of grade or performance level.

Ohio Homeschool Support Groups
Homeschool support groups in your state are an excellent way to gain more assistance and guidance in your homeschooling endeavors. A regional support group fosters a wonderful sense of community among homeschooling families and allows for more opportunities to exchange ideas, plan group outings, and share in the overall experience of homeschooling! While Calvert supports the development of community among homeschool families, this list does not constitute affiliation between Calvert School and the groups represented below.
ASHLAND RICHLAND CHRISTIAN HOME EDUCATORS (ARCHE)
The purpose of ARCHE is to mutually support and encourage one another in our God-given task of raising godly children, provide educational opportunities for our families, give our children the opportunity to build friendships with others who share the unique experience of being taught at home, and to be a positive witness for home education to the community and to government agencies.
CHRISTIAN HOME EDUCATORS CO-OPERATIVE (CHEC)
CHEC is a Christian-worldview-based co-operative. CHEC provides countless opportunities for homeschooling students and their families to come together on a regular basis for support, mutual educational benefits, information, and a wide range of activities. CHEC offers homeschooled students a venue to meet other homeschoolers their ages through social, academic, and athletic programs. We are governed and directed by an elected and appointed Stewardship Team.

CHEO acknowledges that the Lord Jesus Christ must be central and supreme in the rearing of our children and that biblical education is an inseparable part of the Christian faith.
CHEO seeks to preserve the God-given, constitutional right to home educate and to support and encourage families in fulfilling this biblical responsibility.
HOME EDUCATORS COOPERATIVE LEARNING COMMUNITY
The mission of this this organization is to promote information, resources, and support to home educators, their families, and those interested in home education; to provide information regarding educational and social opportunities that encompass cooperative, nurturing, and multigenerational environments for adults, teens, and children in the homeschool community; and to promote an open and inclusive community for home educators in an atmosphere of respect and dignity.
NORTH EAST OHIO HOME SCHOOL CONNECTION (NEOHSC)
NEOHSC is a secular homeschooling support group. We welcome all homeschoolers, including traditional, online, eclectic, and unschoolers.
The group's purpose is to help homeschoolers find like-minded friends and plan children's activities, mom's nights, and family events.
